EVOLUTION VOLLEYBALL CLUB        

Evolution Volleyball Club is proud to be entering its 2nd season in the ever increasingly strong Chesapeake Region.  We had an excellent inaugural season and are already getting prepared for our 2nd year.  We have picked up a new sponsor this season.  We are excited to welcome Smack Sportswear  out of California to the Evolution family. We are looking forward to working with this quickly up and coming company.

Evolution’s goal is to improve our players so they reach their greatest potential as athletes and give them opportunities to be exposed to College Coaches and recruiters.  Like every club, once on the court, our goal is to put out the highest level of competition and to try to win every tournament we enter.  What sets Evolution apart is our steadfast commitment to the following principles that were the reason for our creation:

(1)          Provide a good value for your investment. Playing club volleyball requires financial commitment from every family. However, we believe we put together a package that will provide our athletes the training and exposure worth investing in. The value is very apparent with the number of multi-day tournaments we are planning to attend and all that is included in the fee.

(2)          Provide a place for all types of serious athletes, including multi-sport athletes. We consider all athletes who are serious about playing volleyball, but we are also considerate of their family commitments and if it applies, their commitment to other High School sports. Having said that, players who accept a position on a team should understand that they must be able to balance all their commitments and attend all practices and tournaments.

(3)          Provide high exposure to college coaches and recruiters without excessive travel expenses. We also have a recruiting coordinator on staff to help guide players through the recruiting process if they so desire.

Evolution Volleyball Club is a new type of volleyball club. You can say we are a "High Exposure Regional Travel" club. Evolution provides a high quality, low-cost travel club volleyball environment for athletes who would like to take their skills to the next level and beyond.

Evolution’s teams allow players to attend 4-6 local tournaments and 4-6 multi-day, overnight tournaments. To keep costs down, we have limited our participation to multi-day travel tournaments and National Qualifiers that are within a reasonable driving distance of the Washington Metropolitan Area. By doing this, we are able to keep costs down while still being able to provide exposure to a large number of college coaches and recruiters, thus the "High Exposure" title.
